¤.LIFE STUFF & RANT.¤
Animes. I use to love 'em so much, it's all I would watch and listen to day in day out. But as I grew older I guess, the common animes clichés really started to annoy me, and the dark, mature animes I was really seeking were pretty darn scarce, so in the end I completely lost interest.
I still kept an eye out for new stuff though. Naruto, FMA, Bleach and company... Even though they're extremely popular they just didn't appeal to me at all. But a few months ago I came by Ergo Proxy, which is a dark post-apocalyptic anime, and was struck with awe. It rekindled my interest in animes quite a bit. I then watched the popular Death Note which was fairly good also.
But more recently, all I've been watching is Claymore. Oh it doesn't have the most original or intricate story, but the epic battles and many interesting characters vastly makes up for it. It's like a drug. (and I have I highly addictive personality, that doesn't help either!
What does this have to do with anything you asked? Well as you might have noticed from last submission, it has inspired me do draw some fanarts. There's more where that came from I tell ya! Just thought I'd share where the whole drawing-anime-pics-again was coming from.
